I am so proud of you also! I use the bus everyday for work so I
understand. I just wish that more would use the fix bus system.  .

So I just catch bus seven from my house on Boulevard in Cyprus heading downtown to the MTC Marion transfer center. And then I hop on the 19 leaving MARION transfer CENTER. Going to my appointments there and then heading back home.

I had let the driver know on the route seven that I need to connect with the route 15. And he let me know when I was on Boulevard and Columbus. He asked me which way will I be traveling. I told him I needed to go to international mall. He told me to stay on the same side that I get off the bus seven. And just walk to the light in the bus stop is right there wait a few minutes and then the bus 15 came almost passed us because he did not see you with a big rig sitting there. But as soon as he saw us he stopped right away. And he asked me where am I am traveling to. And I told him I would like to go to international mall please and could you please let me know when I’m there. And yes she did.I am so proud of myself because me being deaf blind I’m able to travel on the city bus would just Frisco my guide dog. And I was able to travel around inside of the mall by myself because me and FROM SCHOOL have been there before and we know where we were going. But then when the go group tried they messed up my laptop a little bit because they do not have an Apple laptop. But I was able to get Apple to help me with all of that and fixing voiceover. And then I went to the jewelry store in there and asked them where can I get a battery for my braille Watch and they told me where. And it was perfect directions for school took me right there and it only cost me $18 to put a new battery in and the lady said it for me.

Anytime I ride the city bus I get excited. Because I know I can still do it by myself. For instants the lady when I was coming home told me the wrong side of the street to stand on to catch the seven. But something inside of me said no no you go across the street and we did and we can’t walking into we ran into the bus stop. End it was the side of the street I need to be to come home. So when I’m out there with my guy dog if something doesn’t feel right I always follow my instincts because so far my instincts haven’t let me down.
