Problems with the date of horseback riding. I called the ranch yesterday and they said that March 16 was the only Saturday available in March and that if we wanted that day the deposit needed to be in the office by the next few days. Since I know we are all saving for this can we move the date for April 20 at 2:30 instead?

Happy Sunday! I hope you all are well, and enjoying this beautiful weather. 

Jeanette, our activity coordinator, along with others, has proposed that we push horseback riding to March 16th at 2:30 PM for all of us to save up for this activity! Is everyone in agreement?

If you plan on participating in this activity, I asked that you contact Jeanette, so she can plan accordingly with the ranch.

Would it be possible for us to postpone until March? I would love to ride as well as the bon fire and hay ride; however, I am considering the cost for two of us and it will be difficulgt for us to manage this month. Just my honest input! Merry

Nature Trail: $40 per rider

A basic ride through the woods and by lakeside, this is a "Walk" only ride with minimal trotting. This ride is for ages 5 & up. 

Gratuity for all guides is appreciated. Our guides are volunteers

Groups ride at the level of the least experienced rider

Please allow 15 minutes for paperwork and to meet your guide, your horse and feed our treats (or bring carrots and apples).

Proper Riding Attire:

We strongly suggest long pants, preferably jeans. A boot preferably or a non-slippery shoe with a heel. Flip-flops and tennis shoes are frowned upon. A shirt or blouse that covers your shoulders, and a riding helmet.  

(We have riding helmets available in the office free to use.)

Eligibility Criteria for ALL participants:

Horseback Riding is a very physical outdoor recreational activity. All riders must be able to mount and dismount without assistance and ride for 5 miles. For your safety, we must caution you that horseback riding is not at all similar to golfing, bicycling, or any other sport activity. Advancing age, obesity, hip and knee replacements, arthritis, back and neck pain, decreased motor skills and other physical issues can certainly interfere with the rider's ability to balance, stay seated, or even hold the reins. Participants must be able to understand the language of the attending personnel and follow visual or verbal aid. Participants must have the ability to independently remain seated and balanced on a horse in motion while simultaneously directing a horse's travel and speed for approximately an hour. A participant must also be able to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of 90 minutes. All participants must be sober and of sound mind to understand the inherent risks of horseback riding and complete and execute a liability release contract. Please estimate your abilities wisely and/or consult your doctor. You are welcome to contact Management at (813) 264-1919 with any questions or concerns.

Hayride & Bonfire Party - Minimum fee is $199 for 2 hours -*(I was told when I called that it was $15 per person and can be done at any time of the day as long as they know ahead of time.)

There is nothing like the warmth and fun of sitting around a fire to turn an afternoon or evening into a memorable night with friends and family! Come enjoy an evening at our ranch and let us help you make lasting memories! Sit around a bonfire while spending quality time with the people that matter most in your life, followed by a 25-minute hayride that gives you a tour of our beautiful ranch.
