[NFBF-Tampa] Legislative committee

Dear Florida Federation Family,

 

This is a friendly reminder of our Legislative committee call tonight at
8:00 p.m.  We will be discussing the three legislative initiatives we will
work on during this years' Washington Seminar. This email will have the fact
sheets for the initiatives attached. Please join the call as Kimie Eacobacci
from the Advocacy and Policy Department and a Legislative Specialist from
our National office will be joining the call to talk about our legislative
work and how you at home may  support the Florida delegation while we are
walking the halls of Capitol Hill.

 

As you will see from the attachments we have new items we are working on;
however, these do not negate our prior issues which are still being worked
on by our organization. I am grateful that Kimie is joining our call to help
us have more awareness of these new legislative issues.

 

For full disclosure, Social Policy is a part of the Social Work graduate
level masters program for Social Workers.  I currently have two graduate
interns at my place of business and they will be observing our call this
evening.
