[NFBF-Tampa] Senior Concerns Meetings for October, 2019 [Reminder]

Hello Gloria;
I have a brother in Knoxville, Tennessee and he has the same eye disease as 
me, (RP).  He is approximately 7 years behind me in the progression of the 
disease.  He is also a higher level employee in a credit union in Knoxville 
and he is experiencing some frustrations related to the obstacles in the 
software of the bank.  I have asked him to call in to our phone conversation 
to listen and ask questions...is that ok?
He is very reluctant to use aides for his disease, but I think if he becomes 
aware of all of the people who are, and have been, successful in the 
business world using magnification aides, or screen readers, he will come 
over to the real side.
Is it ok for him to call in and join our group?

Concerns Committee, which will be held by teleconference, Thursday, October
3, 2019, at 8:00 PM.

Our special guest will be NFBF Board Member and President of the Miami-Dade
Chapter Jorge Hernandez. Jorge will discuss and answer questions about the
various browsers you can use on your computer, with special emphasis on
those that work well with accessibility software, such as JAWS.

Dan Hicks will also discuss screen enlarging programs, such as ZoomText,
Fusion, and Windows Magnifier, for those who use some vision to access their
computers.
