I totally agree me as a black woman I am scared to go out and work on street crossing with my guide dog Frisco. Because of the color of my skin and scared that someone might come up and try to hurt me. But it is crazy how this world is going downhill it’s going backwards. And just last night I was texting with my guy friend. And he was saying that we S colored people don’t get the same for treatment as somebody who is not African-American That we get treated worse. But yes I don’t want to bring hate and controversy in the nfB but I was so angry and so mad the other day I had to express myself on how I feel even through the nfB so the nfb will know how I feel as a African-American woman. I’m not scared to go out because of the coronavirus I’ve been going out since March 1. When they have shut down the VA on March 1. And then a few days later the coronavirus hit Tampa at all Frisco the coronavirus is not going to stop us. I’m not going to be locked in my house. I’m going to go out and still do what I wanna do. Just like Saturday last Saturday when we had our nfb meeting here in Tampa. And someone said that we are all staying in because of coronavirus. And I said I’m not like that I’m not doing what you’re doing I am Going out and traveling. I bet that there is a lot of Guide Dog Users that’s just sitting in the house doing nothing not doing street crossings or anything they probably too scared to go outside. But my sister and my cousin who are nurses they said it’s OK to go outside to the street crossings because you’re by yourself. So that’s what me and FROM SCHOOL does we go out Street crossing just walking just going for a walk around our neighborhood but I put his harness on Because I’m deaf blind and I want to be safe. But on YouTube I follow some people and they take their dog without harness but they’re with their husband and they just go walking like that. But I’m Phinne get up feed Frisco and go for a quick walk in the neighborhood not far but around my neighborhood my neighborhood is pretty big

I won't get political, but much of what is said by people in positions of leadership stirs up those types of feelings. Then, we have others who are taking advantage of the situation to steal, distroy and divert from the real issues. Our system needs fixing big time. All we can do is our best to live the life we want and help in a peaceful way to ensure that others have the opportunity to do so as well.

> I agree with you about walking and getting outside. In our development there are lots of people out walking, riding bikes, driving golf carts and the like. The swimming pools are opened with limited groups of people and social distancing. Next week, I should say, starting tomorrow, the local tram will be available to take people to grocery stores and the like. It has bee running apparently for the past couple of weeks but I usually ride with my husband if I go to the grocery stores. I'm walking between 3 and 5 miles a day now. I cut back a little because my feet were hurting. It's hot out there though so you have to choose you times. We have it much better here in that it is safe to walk. It isn't everywhere.

I hope that everyone keeps in straight in their minds the difference between assembling to express their belief about what needs to be changed in the system and those who are taking advantage of the situation.

And we were talking about the cop that was kneeling on the young black man throat for nine minutes until he died even when he called out for his mama. I said to my sister and she agreed that this is going on between white cops and black man white cops and black women is racist. I say that because my whole entire family is black. And it makes me sick and very angry at these white cops. And then with the black woman is mad At the cup for investing her brother. Because he was planning on coming to the Tampa Bay area and doing a lot of shooting killing. And she claims she needed help getting out the car and when a cop trying to help her she launched at the cop with a huge huge butcher knife. So the cop came from running out the building to see what was the matter and they had to shoot the lady because she was trying to stab the car. And that was over by where my sister lives in Temple Terrace. I told my sister that this country is going to hell in a hand basket

Because I am the youngest one in the family and all my family it worries about me at this time so she comes and get me and take me to so I could see my nephews my brother and the rest of the family so they can know how I’m doing. Me and Frisco is not Like the people here in Tampa at the Tampa Bay chapter were they say they stay in the house. I knew when I was no longer for right now going to be at the VA on March 1 and right before they did the shut down the VA did a shut down on March 1 to protect our patients I said to my sisters this coronavirus that’s coming to Tampa is not want to keep me locked in my house. Me and Frisco does not stay in the house like a lot of people at the Tampa beach after we go out walking every day we go everywhere we don’t sit in the house. Because a lot of myDoctors and nurses said it’s not good just a set up in the house like that. It’s good to get out and just walk around your neighborhood and S with me in Frisco do twice a day we walk around our neighborhood working on street crossing so he can keep that up. The only days I did not go out walking is on the weekends because it’s not as busy out here on the weekend but I do it through the week where it’s a lot more cars.
