> Good morning again everyone,
>
> I’m resending the information from the other day about a meeting we have scheduled this morning with the Office of Senator Rick Scott to discuss the Access Technology Affordability Act. The body of the email from Tuesday is pretty much the same, but I’ve removed the Zoom link for the, (now completed), meeting with Sen. Rubio’s staff. Doing this to assist in reducing any possible confusion about how to get to the call.
>
> On yesterday’s call with Sen. Rubio’s Legislative Assistant, Hunter Koski, we had 15 Floridians showing their support for S212, The Access Technology Affordability Act. Let’s bring a lot more of us to the 11:00 AM meeting with Sen. Scott’s office today and really show that we are dedicated to the passage of S-212.
>
> Again, everyone is welcome. See you all at 11:00 AM. See the Zoom link below.

> Respectfully,

> Good afternoon Federation family and Supporters!
>
> As many of you are aware, we need to focus the attention of our Federal House and Senate members on the importance of the Access Technology Affordability Act, (HR-431 / S-212). Support for the bill has been growing in both the House and the Senate. Despite this support from both Democrats and Republicans, the survival of the bill this year is in jeopardy. The Bill has been included into the “Build Back Better Plan” currently being debated in both houses of Congress. This reconciliation plan is subject to a great deal of streamlining, in order to reduce the cost of the bill and in order to gain support from various Senators and Congresspersons. Efforts will be made to remove the ATAA from the reconciliation bill if we are unable to show enough support for the vital piece of legislation
>
> By contacting our Senators and House members and expressing our support for the inclusion of the ATAA in the final versions of the Build Back Better Plan, we can help the bill survive. One way we can show our support is by attending virtual meetings tomorrow, (Wed. November 3rd at 2:00 PM), and Thursday, (November 4th at 11:00 AM). We were fortunate enough to secure appointments with both Senator Rubio’s and Senator Scott’s legislative staff in order to express our support for the ATAA and to provide the staffers with important information about the bill.
>
> I will provide the links for both meetings in this email, (below), so please hold on to this call in information until both meetings have passed. You don’t need to respond to this email directly, but if you would like to advise me that you will be present, you may email or call me directly.
>
> Thank you all so very much for all of the effort you put into moving our legislative initiatives forward. I appreciate and respect you all for your dedication.
>
> Sincerely,
>
