[NFBF-Tampa] Stronger Together Concert: Let's fill the seats!

Dear Tampa Bay Chapter Members & Supporters, 

 

                All the pieces of the Stronger together concert to celebrate
Blind Achievement and Equality Month are falling into place. The band is
continuing to rehearse, we have a sponsor for our back line equipment
(sound, lighting, and instruments), and our marketing plan is in place. Now
comes the most important task of implementing the marketing plan and filling
the seats! If you are a member of the Tampa Bay Chapter, we urge you to join
our marketing efforts to fill the house.

 

                On Monday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Stronger Together
band and the Chapter leadership will outline and launch our marketing plan.
Here is the important facts about our current position. The Chapter has
committed to $1200 for the room. We have also committed to other costs to
market the concert which will be outlined tonight. The room will seat up to
250 in a wide theater style arrangement. The cost for the show is $20 per
seat with special group rates of $15 per ticket for ten or more tickets
purchased n a block. NFB members also receive a discounted admission for
$15. If all seats are filled and an equal number of regular and discounted
admission tickets are sold for an average fee of $17.50, we would gross
$4375. With projected expenses of $1800, our projected net revenue for this
event would be approximately 2575. But wait. There's More!

 

                In addition to the Stronger Together concert, there is a
silent auction. The potential for this part of the event to net more revenue
than the concert gate is very possible, netting the chapter more than
$5,000! We have already made significant progress gathering auction items
and will report on these successes, as well as offer tips for your asks.
Remember, we all agreed to do this and now we need you to say "Yes!" again! 

 

                The Stronger Together Committee will meet on Monday, August
