[NFBF-Tampa] Update on Publix event today

Congrats to all our group for working hard.  Let’s hope some of the donors will come to the pancake breakfast.
On my shift, I’d like to thank Greg for pointing out the people coming by as I have a mild hearing loss and didn’t always hear footsteps.  One woman passing by literally ran past our table to avoid us while others stopped by to inquire about our project.
Greg is a hard worker and used to doing charity work of various types.  He’s a real asset.
I believe this was a learning experience for us all.

Once again, thank you for those who have so far assisted with this pancake fundraiser. During this event at Publix, we raised $296 and majority of that is straight donations. We did sell a few tickets and will hope to see those individuals join us on Saturday, July 29. I will say, For the most part, we the Tampa Chapter shined  bright today during an overcast day. Continue to sell your tickets and I look forward in  seeing you guys on July 29.

Miranda, you sent out such a kind and enthusiastic email .. thanks so much for that. And wow, so many people came out to help this time. Even the weather kind of cooperated, since it didn’t really pour here, and it wasn’t so horribly hot.
I sure wish I could have been there, but so many members showed up at my little Publix store that I am happy I can simply start the ball rolling. I’m pretty sure my Publix is the smallest one in our area!

I hope everyone had fun, too, and that you didn’t eat too many goodies from the Publix bakery!

Today is our Publix event to help advertise and pre sell tickets for our pancake breakfast. A huge thank you goes out to Sherrill O’brien for setting this up. I would also like to thank Yvonne, Jessica, Shanti, Greg, Louise, Paul,  Z’Leah, Isabella, my niece, Nevaeh, and myself, for attending and making this event successful! in addition, thank you to Dan, who, created and printed the flyers and the tickets for this event. As you all can see, it’s a collaborative project, and we can’t do it without everyone. Like I always say, we are stronger together, when we work together!
