Hello Everyone,

On August 27, 2024 at 8 PM ET, the Black Elected Leaders, one of the
workgroups of the National Organization of Blind Black Leaders, a proud
division of the National Federation of the Blind will present a
conversation with three recent graduates of the Kenneth Jernigan Leadership
in Service Program. The Kenneth Jernigan Leadership in service Program is
an intensive yearlong program that is designed to build new leaders in our
movement and raise expectations of existing leaders to work in integrating
blind people into society on terms of equality. Camille Tate, First Vice
President of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida, Janice
Bright, President of the South Carolina Association of Black Leaders and
Felecia Bradford, Board Member, National Federation of the Blind of
Michigan have completed the first ever KJ Leadership in Service Program. We
will get a chance to know these Black women Federation leaders, hear about
their experiences in the program and find out what their plans are now that
they have completed the program. The audience will have an opportunity to
ask questions.

So come join us next Tuesday night. The Zoom information is below.
