> The National Federation of the Blind of Florida is honored and excited to host our 2024 National Convention in Orlando, Florida. This year's National Convention will be held at the Rosen Center, July 3-8, 2024. We are looking forward to host a fantastic convention. You are invited to be part of the planning process to welcome our members and visitors for the long awaited return to Florida!

> We are opening the convention planning process to our members and will announce our National Convention Planning Committee in the short future. The chair for the committee is Camille Tate, First Vice President of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida. As the host committee, some of our duties will include:

> * Information table
> * Hospitality suite
> * Opening ceremonies
> * Entertainment (optional)
> 
> We are asking for our members to put on their idea hats and share with us some of the great things we can do to make our National Convention fun! Let's not forget fundraising! What can we do to raise money for our affiliate at convention? Share those ideas!

> If you have any thoughts or ideas for National Convention, or would like to serve on the planning committee, please send an email to the following email address: convention at nfbflorida.org. Keep an ear or eye out on our email list for your opportunity to participate in the upcoming committee meetings.
