[NFBF-Tampa] For Guide Dog Teams FW: ACVO/Epicur Service Animal Eye Exam Event Registration Opens Soon!

I’m not sure about who knows of this yearly event for service dog teams but this organization will provide for a service dog to get its eyes checked at a Specialist’s location absolutely free of charge. I’ve been through this yearly visual checkup with all of my past guide dogs. There is at least 1 location in Tampa to provide this service.

15th Annual Service Animal Screening Eye Exam Event Registration Launches,
Monday, April 1st!

Be sure to add  <mailto:ServiceAnimal at ACVO.org> ServiceAnimal at ACVO.org to your safe senders list! To make an appointment after registration, on Monday, April 1st, please call the clinic of your choosing and be sure to give the clinic your registration number. Appointments are on a first come, first serve basis.

Please remember that locations/appointments may be limited in your area. We ask for patience and kindness to the clinics' staff. Everyone participating is volunteering their time and resources, and we would love for this event to continue to be a positive experience for all involved!

Specific clinic names and contact information is not included here but will be provided via registration confirmation emails after you register for the event. These can change from year to year as participation is completely voluntary, based upon the availability of each specialist and their resources, and the exam happen in their existing clinic locations.
