[NFBF-Tampa] Spirit night update and more good news

Miranda and all,

 

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to join in last Friday’s meeting since I was on my way to visit my daughter’s family.

 

I’ll get to Beefs no later than 12:30 following church. Something to keep in mind is that The Bucs are at home playing the Atlanta Falcons starting at 1:00. So there should be lots of cheering going on around the TV’s at Beefs.

 

Good news! For our September 21 meeting, my friend Mickey Castor, former president of the League of Women Voters of Hillsborough County, has once again agreed to come and give us valuable information and answer our questions about the amendments we’ll be voting on in the November election. It’s been several years since Mickey spoke to us, but she wanted me to convey to you how much she enjoys interacting with us. She commented that our group has always been so attentive and interested in what she has to say, and asks great questions!

Mickey has quite a few speaking engagements this fall. So I hope we take advantage of her knowledge and enthusiasm by spreading the word and having a great turnout!

 

I called both Publix stores, the one in Carrollwood and also the Carrollwood Village store about reserving a table in July of next year. We can’t get a firm date until the 2025 Publix calendar is made up, so I’m to call back toward the end of the year to secure dates for us, hopefully at both stores.

Good afternoon all,

Great news! I spoke to Kurt at beef O’Brady’s and we are good to go on a spirit night and a live option! Now it’s time to huddle and execute a game plan!

 

The Beef Obrady  spirit night is scheduled for Sunday, October 27 from 11 AM until 5 PM, we do not have to be there the whole time, and it includes carry out food.
