Update: the property will be picked up this evening. We are grateful for
the pick up and delivery to Debbie's home. 

 

We are not sure if we will be able to attend the next chapter meeting as we
prepare for the move. However, if not please know we will miss you all very
much.  Also, we will be participating in the Bay walk with the NFB on
November 9th. If you'd like to donate for the walk, individually or as a
chapter, here are the walkers: Merry Schoch, Marion Gwizdala, Aislinn Woody,
Jeff Woody, and Archer Woody.

Dear All,

 

                During our last chapter meeting, we shared that we have a
significant amount of chapter property we need to relocate before our move.
Debbie Malone has offered to store it but we need someone who can transport
it. What we have cannot be transported on a para transit vehicle. We need to
have this property picked up by October 10 or we will be forced to dispose
of it. This would be really unfortunate, as it contains a lot of literature,
magnifiers, a Braille writer, professionally created signs, and a lot more.
It would be irresponsible to dispose of it but we cannot transport it to
Maryland. Would someone please step forward and help get this out of our
house? Thanks a bunch!
