[NFBF-Tampa] Meeting follow up

Good afternoon, Tampa Bay,


Just wanted to touch base before we make our travels to Altamonte Springs
for state convention. I know we’re packing our most tropical attire as well
as planning our moves for our fun filled weekend.


Thank you so much to Debbie and Dan for getting the resolution put
together. They wasted no time and had it to Jorge almost immediately!


Coffee donation has been secured by Starbucks so we’re all set on that
front.


 I think I speak for the chapter when I say we very much appreciate
Merry/Marion, Debbie as well as Luis/Ana for helping get those items
complete. It’s great to see everybody work together to get things done! You
guys are awesome.  We truly are stronger together!!


Our next chapter meeting will be at Beef O’Brady‘s Saturday, October 18th
from 12 to 2 PM.  From 1:30-2p we will have guest speaker and health
insurance expert Sharon D. She specializes in Medicare/ Medicaid/SSDI.
Sharon was a mentor to me earlier in my career and actively advises me and
my family on current qualifications of benefits as well as health/ life
insurance changes. She is extremely knowledgeable so come with your
questions. It should be fruitful for all!


Please mark your calendar for October 21st and plan to attend the
transportation meeting at TPepin if you are able! We would love to have as
much representation from our community as possible. We plan to wear our
“yellow jackets” and cause a “buzz”!


I cannot wait to see all of you at state convention this weekend! For those
that won’t be able to make it, you’ll be with us in spirit. Together, let’s
build the National Federation Of The Blind!
