For my trip home, one of our regular members gives me a ride to Mission Bell where I take another para transit bus home. The church is obviously not on a bus route and is at the other end of the county. I would not be able to use the fixed route system and get to these locations efficiently. Perhaps when the funding is released, HART will expand their service 150%! This concert is my way of singing for my dinner, so to speak, as it will help fund my trip to the National Association of guide Dog Users annual meeting for which I serve as president and will represent that division to the National Federation of the Blind annual convention from July 7 – 12.
