he fact that I do not live in the Tampa area, I am unaware of the resources t=<br>
hat may be available in the Community.. however, in the Fort/Cape Coral Mark=<br>
et there is at least one and probably more organisations for the death famil=<br>
y heart of hearing. Since I know the director of one of the organisations in=<br>
the Fort Myers Lions Club Resources might be available in the Tampa market.=<br>
. also, I was wondering if the local CIL might have some options for you. If=<br>
he wears hearing aids, possibly where he may sit from the main speakers mig=<br>
ht be important. It might be possible that he might need his hearing reevalu=<br>
ated, unless of course he has none. and/or you may need some adjust. If that=<br>
might be the case and funds are an issue, Lions might be able to offer some=<br>
assistance. While I do not know everybody in the NFB.-Fl who may be deaf fi=<br>
ne, I am aware of a couple and you might want to contact one of them. There i=<br>
s someone in the local area, that could be ideal..<br>
However, for a person to receive assistance with an issue and especi=<br>
ally a health issue, they must first be willing to accept sex assistance and=<br>
even more important and a better scenario as if they ask for assistance wit=<br>
h the issues that they have. I am not sure what an individual who is staff l=<br>
ine and hearing aids do not work for them would need to do.. also, had a rec=<br>
ent event I attended the Florida deafen blind school at Saint Augustine was t=<br>
here and maybe they may be worth a consultation. In the past, I know they ha=<br>
ve attended the NFB.-Fl convention, the school has been there and probably w=<br>
ill be at the next one so that contact information should definitely be avai=<br>
lable. Whatever the case,Ineligible my Swann and be going to accept whatever=<br>
assistance can or would be offered. Of course, there is the possibility tha=<br>
t whatever issues or concerns he may have going on in his life, they have no=<br>
thing to do with being deaf line.. my apologies if I may have overstep, even=<br>
though I am a member I am not resigning in the Tampa area at this time and d=<br>
on=E2=80=99t have the knowledge of the community like everybody else in the c=<br>
hapter may have.<br>
