Apologies if this has come up already, but it seems to me that one thing that could be requested from JBI is to have them include information about this group in one of their mailings. They can say all the things about how they have nothing to do with this group and are passing it along as a public service or whatever.   Using their mailing list this way would be one big way they could serve the community.
