Project Gutenberg has thousands of free eBooks.  Mostly books in text format.  But they have lots of audio books as well.  Both human-read and computer generated. These are all books upon which the copyright has expired or are in the public domain.  So you won't find recent best-sellers.  But I'll bet you can find some good stuff.
