Subject: Health Care Reform Forum
Hello Everyone -
Marcellus has asked me to send an email to all Board Members about the upcoming Health Care Reform Forum being held on Monday, April 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the First Unitarian Church, 809 South 4th Street, Louisville, KY 40203. We have put together a great panel!! Congressman John Yarmuth will be in attendance as well as Dr. Garrett Adams, President of Physicians for a National Health Plan; Rick Mitchum, CEO of Preferred Health Plan, Inc.; Vicki Yates Brown, Attorney and Co-Author of "Health Care Reform in Kentucky; Setting the Stage for the Twenty-First Century?"; and Beth Walker, Nurse Practitioner who will also be bringing some materials about health services offered and she will also be doing some prescreening for heart disease.
We need everyone on the Board to put the word out to friends, co-workers, family and social groups!! Let everyone know when and where it is. This Forum is beneficial to everyone!!! I will send out the PSA and Flyer to everyone once they are looked over and approved.
