      Dear Bellarmine Alumni and Friends,

The Bellarmine Music Department is more vibrant and active than ever. The Department now offers seven different majors and programs, including the popular Music Technology major. To find out more about the Bellarmine Music Department, click here.

However, there are many critical issues facing schools of music today—one of the most important concerns the quality and condition of its pianos. Over the years, our friendship with Gist Piano Center has given us a remarkable opportunity to educate our Bellarmine students using top-grade instruments from some of the world’s largest piano builders.

For the past academic year, the faculty and students have benefitted from the use of pianos and services donated by Gist Piano Center. Now through a special agreement, a selection of pianos will be made available at institutional discounts to friends of the university, alongside other new and used pianos from Steinway, Boston, Essex, Roland, Yamaha, Kawai and more.

We need your assistance to perpetuate this important program. If you have been thinking about bringing a new piano into your home, now is the time.

By purchasing a piano at this event, you give future Bellarmine students the opportunity to learn on some of the world’s finest instruments. Best of all, this agreement allows you to select one of these pianos at a special price only available to friends of the Bellarmine School of Music. As a valued member of the Bellarmine community, you will be given first pick of these gently-used pianos, before they are offered to the general public.

Most of these grand, vertical, digital and modern CD player pianos have been professionally maintained and will carry a factory warranty. Financing and delivery are available for qualified applicants. We encourage you to schedule an appointment, as each piano is unique and will be sold on a “first-come, first-served” basis. To request your private appointment, please visit www.gistpianocenter.com/bellarminesale.

Thursday, June 2 – Private Appointments for friends of the BU Music Department

Friday, June 3 – Private Appointments for friends of the BU Music Department

Saturday, June 4 – Open to the Public from 10am to 5pm

Gist Piano Center will be closed to the general public during these private sale days. You are welcome to purchase any piano during your appointment.

This unique sale will take place at Gist Piano Center (Poplar Level Road and The Watterson Expressway – right behind Frisch’s Big Boy). For more information, click here or call (502) 451-1831.

Thank you in advance for your support.

      Richard Burchard
