For those who know Bill and Brenda Bleakmore:
 
BLEAKMORE, DONALD WILLIAM "BILL," 68, of Louisville, passed away on the morning of October 3, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

He had worked for the Industries for the Blind and was a member of the Life in the Spirit Fellowship. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda Lyles Bleakmore; sons, Richard Talley (Rebecca), Charles (Kelli) and Mark (Tina) Bleakmore; grandchildren, Chloe, Sarah, Dillon and Matilda Bleakmore and Autumn Grace Talley. 

The Celebration of Life service for Bill will be 2 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2011at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, after 11 a.m. on Friday until service time at the funeral home. 

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Printing House for the Blind or the Louisville McDowell Center. 


It's a lot more satisfying to reach for the stars, even if you end up landing only on the moon.
