No they don’t have to have any value. The trick

From: nfbk-bounces at nfbnet.org [mailto:nfbk-bounces at nfbnet.org] On Beha or should I say challenge is to trade for something you might want or something with some value. The fun is to just see whats there, and negotiate.

Come on down. Looks like we are getting a good response.lf Of Nickie Pearl

Hi George,

I know what a swop is, but what kinds of items do people usually bring? I have a lot of stuff, much of it not worth anything. Does the item have to have any value?

I think this sounds like fun and if you decide to go forth with it, I’ll participate!

Thanks!

Nickie

Years ago, there was a lot of us that got together on Saturday morning in the town in which I resided and brought items to swop. We had some of the most talented “horse-traders” to come out of Western Ky.

So, I got to thinking:

“I wonder how many “horse-traders” we might have in NFBK?”

Send me an e-mail if you are interested in bringing something to swop by say the 15th of Sept. If I don’t get much of a response, then I will drop the idea.

The table would be on Friday night only. Any items that weren’t traded and removed could be sold on auction, assuming you didn’t want to take it back home.

Think it over and let me know.

Horse-trader

George Stokes
