Well known Swiss watchmaker Tissot has offered a first ever watch that provides the time through silent vibration. The Silen-T watch combines the latest in tactile technology, featuring an alarm which vibrates instead of making a noise and a high quality touch screen that you can use to set both – the time and alarm.

This Tissot was made firstly for blind people, but it works just as well for those who aren’t.  By simply pushing the crown and touching the screen, you can set and read the time and the alarm in a revolutionary way.

All you should do after pressing and releasing the stem is to wait half a second and then place your finger on the sapphire crystal at the edge of the bezel and then trace your finger clockwise around it, until you sense a vibration. A continuous vibration connotes hours, while an intermittent vibration indicates minutes. This exquisite timepiece from T-Touch collection is a perfect choice for the busy business executive who needs to be able to tell the time in a discrete manner.

The watch comes with a choice of black, white and silver dial, with luminous hour and minute hands, indexes and Arabic numerals at six and 12 o’clock position, and it is protected by antireflective-sapphire crystal.

You can also choose between refined stainless-steel bracelet and sporty black leather strap which is more appropriate for water activities. Silen-T is water resistance up to 30 meters.

A round stainless steel case with diameter of 39.2 mm and with thickness of 11.35 mm has brushed and polished finishes. Inside the case, beats reliable and accurate Swiss quartz movement.

With its smart polished lugs, twelve raised indices set on the stationary bezel and characteristic “T” on the crown, this wristwatch offers an elegant look and feel. The simple design of this Tissot goes perfectly well with either formal or casual wear.

This is ideal watch for those who like T-Touch collection, but don’t require all the extra features. With a fair price (someone might say – a quite affordable price considering inside technology that is astounding) below 500 dollars, this timepiece is excellent gift for various occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays and weddings.
