[Nfbk] SB 87 Advocacy ...

Dear Friends,

 

Another day has come and gone in Frankfort regarding Senate Bill 87.  I
definitely thank all of you who have supported the Accessible Electronic
Information Services with telephone calls to the Natural Resources & Energy
Committee in the Senate, your own District Senators and Representatives and
personal visits in Frankfort!  Your support has certainly told the 2012
General Assembly that Accessible Electronic Information Services are needed
and have limitless potential benefit by those Kentuckians who are eligible
for the services.

 

The Natural Resources & Energy Committee met today in Room 154 of the
Capitol Annex at 11AM, and a number of supporters were in the audience from
various locations across the State.  Unfortunately, a quorum was not met and
no vote occurred!  SB 87 remains introduced to the committee only, yet is
spoken about with favor by a good number of State Senators.

 

Stay tuned .  It is likely that Accessible Electronic Information Services
will need your continued support through the Session.
