[Nfbk] NEWSLINE and the Courier Journal

Hi Melanie.

As far as I can tell, the Courier-Journal is complete on NFB Newsline Online. One thing that is confusing is that the first revision of the day contains only the syndicated content and obituaries. As the day progresses and new stories get added to the paper, they appear as revisions. Of course, the printed paper for the same day contains only the content from yesterday's paper. In other words, to get a complete paper for today, get both today's and yesterday's.

I’m really irked about something and wondered if there are any others with the same frustration. I want to read local news – you know, government, features, etc. I don’t watch the news on TV so I really rely on the paper to keep me up to date. The Courier Journal is NOT my choice newspaper at all, but what else is there? In any case, there is very little content in NEWSLINE for the CJ. Does anyone know why this is? I hear about stories in the local news section or the features section that are not on NEWSLINE. Does anyone know of any other sources for local news?
Thanks,
Melanie
