Good Morning All,

We have all seen the posts regarding the commercialization of the highway
rest areas. This will allow McDonalds, Burger King Subway and others to set
up shop on the highways. We here in Kentucky have a job to do! Senator
Portman of Ohio is trying to convince Senator McConnell to use his influence
and get Senator Reed, the Majority Leader, to introduce amendment 1742 on
the floor of the Senate. We must call tomorrow morning and urge Senator
McConnell to appose amendment 1742 of the Transportation Bill. His phone
number is, 202-224-2541. We must protect the priority for our blind vendors.
