I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have received the
good news that our new Region II Manager has been approved for appointment
effective 12-1.  Allison's email to staff is below.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Alan Gullett as the new Vocational
Rehabilitation Branch Manager for Region II.  Although new to OFB, Alan is
not new to rehabilitation services. He brings to us almost 10 years of
experience as a VR Counselor, as well as several years of experience as a VR
Instructor at the Carl D. Perkins Center.  He has a MRC from the University
of KY as well as his CRC.  Alan completed the Leadership program with OVR
and was also a Rehabilitation Counselor Mentor.  He brings a great deal of
knowledge, skills, and compassion to this position.  Alan is excited to
begin working with our staff and consumers and will be a great addition to
the Office for the Bind.

Please join me in welcoming Alan to his new position which has been approved
for a December 1, 2012 start date.  Due to prior commitments, he will begin
in the Lexington office on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
