Hello,

The Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) will soon develop their
2013-2016 State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL).  This Plan, called
the SPIL, determines both the activities of the SILC and the support it
will give the Independent Living network over those three years.  In
Kentucky our Independent Living network includes the Centers for
Independent Living across the state: Independence Place in Lexington and
their satellite offices in eastern Kentucky; the Center for Accessible
Living in Louisville and their satellite offices in northern and western
Kentucky; Disability Resources, Inc. in Bowling Green; and Pathfinders
in Harlan.



The SILC will meet in January 2013 to draft the SPIL.  In order to
better understand the needs of those in Kentucky that use Independent
Living services, the members of the SILC would like to know your
thoughts regarding the importance of certain issues and any suggestions
you may have for this future plan.  Please complete the very short
