Wow Scott, I had no idea that you had that kind of connection to Jim.  That's cool!  Yes, he is going to be dearly missed.  He was very special and the world was a better place because of him.  He played a big part in helping me to get my first real job and was an awesome mentor and friend on and off the job; for all of which, I am forever grateful.

I heard today that Jim Shaw passed. He was a great man, what little I knew him. He was a family friend. My mom was his assistant in high school. He was her first exposure to how a blind person did things.
