Description of Job Duties
Provides rehabilitation services to blind/visually impaired consumers. Maintains a caseload; interprets medical information to determine eligibility; develops and implements individualized plans for employment; plans and coordinates appointments for appropriate assessments for individual needs. Provides career counseling; assures job placement; coordinates services such as orientation & mobility, assistive technology, deaf/blind services, etc. Develops referrals sources and provides public relations activities. Monitors caseload budgets. Enters and tracks data in the Case Management System. Attends meetings and training; performs other duties as assigned.

Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Occasional travel will be required to coordinate services between customers and the agency.
