For those Louisvillians who use Insight for their internet service, you probably know that they have been sold to Time-Warner Cable.  The transition will take effect in June.  From what I can tell, you will not be able to use your insightbb.com email address after the transition.  

 

On the first of each month, members of the NFBK list receive a email from nfbnet.org with information on how to manage your listserv settings.  SAVE this email so that when you have to change your email address from insight to Time Warner, you won’t miss any of the NFBK goodness.  

 

Time Warner will have an optional service to have your old insightbb.com emails forwarded to your new Time Warner email at no cost.  I don’t know how long they will provide this service though.  

 

Of course you don’t have to use Time Warner’s email service.  You could just as easily get an email account from Yahoo, GMAIL or dozens of other online services. 

 

You should receive information from Insight and Time Warner about what you need to do in your specific situation.  I just wanted to give you a heads-up to save that message on the first of the month.
