[Nfbk] Opening MP3 Files in DropBox on the iPhone witha Preferred App

I've tried to do the same thing, and would really like an answer also.  You can play MP3 files from within Dropbox, but that doesn't help unless you have an internet conection.  I hope that someone knows the answer!

  I was too optimistic. I just tried this: double tap an mp3 file in DropBox. I have an export button in the bottom right, but it is dimmed, not active, and tapping it does nothing.

  Why is my Export button dimmed and Melanie's is not (smile)! I want my Export button to be active!

  Hi Terrie, 

  I do this often also. When you open the file and it starts playing, there will be a button on the bottom right where you can open the file oin other apps. When you select it you should see the other apps you can use. I do this to import books and audio into downcast. Hope this helps.
