Larry will demonstrate several technology products to help increase independence and educational opportunities for people who have low or no vision, including:

  *   Apple & Android Smartphones - How to enable and use built-in accessibility features.
  *   Refreshabraille 18 - A portable, Bluetooth braille display and keyboard that pairs to an iPhone or other portable device to provide interactive braille feedback and typing.
  *   Braille Plus 18 - The world's first Braille smartphone/tablet note taker.
  *   Nearby Explorer - An Android app that gives additional critical orientation information via GPS.
  *   Orion TI-84 Talking Graphing Calculator - A modified TI calculator that speaks keys and output and explores graphs with audio and haptic (vibration) feedback.
  *   Book Port Plus - A portable Digital Talking Book player/recorder that also obtains content (including the local newspaper) via its own wireless connection.

Larry will discuss the features and benefits of each product and demonstrate its functionality. You won't want to miss it!
