[Nfbk] NFB of Greater Louisville's Birthday Bonanza Raffle!

Hi everyone,


The announcement is up on Facebook and Twitter.  There are several things we need everyone to do in order to make this fundraiser successful.


1.  Email the link out to your family and friends and ask them to buy tickets.

2.  Like the post on Facebook and share it to your page.  When you share it ask everyone on your friends list to share it as well so that we reach new people.

3.  Retweet the message.

4.  If you are on a NFB listserv (Students, Presidents, Merchants, Crafters, Lawyers, etc...) send out the message Nickie wrote to that list.

5.  Later today I'm going to make a flyer with a QR code.   (People can scan QR codes with their phone and it will take them directly to the website.)  Print the flyer and put it up anywhere you can, at work, at church, or even on the bulletin boards at Kroger.

6.  Add a signature to the end of your email that directs people to the fundraising site.  You can use the one I have at the end of this message or you can create your own.

Earlier this month NFBGL introduced our Birthday Bonanza Raffle.  The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards assisting our members to attend the 75th convention of the National Federation of the Blind in the Summer of 2015.

1st Prize-50 inch Class TV.
2nd Prize-$200 Southwest Airlines Voucher
3rd Prize-$100 Gas Card

Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 tickets for $10.  Winners will be drawn at our Greater Louisville April Luncheon.
