Here is everything compiled together correctly with some added suggestions so there shouldn't be any confusion.


Birthday Bonanza Basics

Earlier this month NFBGL introduced our Birthday Bonanza Raffle.  The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards assisting our members to attend the 75th convention of the National Federation of the Blind in the Summer of 2015.

1st Prize-50 inch Class TV.
2nd Prize-$200 Southwest Airlines Voucher
3rd Prize-$100 Gas Card

Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 tickets for $10.  Winners will be drawn at our Greater Louisville April Luncheon.

The fundraiser is designed to appeal to everyone...not just our members or the blind community.  Please help us spread the word on these wonderful prizes!  If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call, 502-495-7130.

How to Spread the Word


  *   Email the link out to your family and friends and ask them to buy tickets.
  *   Like the post on Facebook and share it to your page.  When you share it ask everyone on your friends list to share it as well so that we reach new people.
  *   There is also an event page now on Facebook that can be found at https://www.facebook.com/events/750093048404959/?ref=3&ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular.  Please join the event, invite your entire friend's list and then share the event.
  *   Re-tweet the message.
  *   Later today I'm going to make a flyer with a QR code.   (People can scan QR codes with their phone and it will take them directly to the website.)  Print the flyer and put it up anywhere you can, at work, at church, or even on the bulletin boards at Kroger.
  *   Add a signature to the end of your email that directs people to the fundraising site.  You can use the one I have at the end of this message or you can create your own.
