If you know of anyone who would be interested, please share the information below.

 

Foundation For Sight & Sound has created a total of 9 scholarship opportunities for high school seniors who are either blind,vision challenged or hard of hearing.  There are three regions, Nationally, Metro NY specific and Long Island specific.  Each catagroy will award one student $500 towards the college or vocational school they plan on attending.  In the case of the Help America Hear scholarship the winner will also receive a pair of new state of the art hearing aids.

 

What I’m asking is for your assistance in helping to spread the word about this opportunity through your network of schools and other venues who cater to these communities.  As there is no financial gain to be had by Foundation For Sight & Sound it’s simply the privilege of being able to provide something for the young of today.

I have attached a copy of our national rules/application for your review  the Metro NY & Long Island are pretty much the same.  If there is someone in your organization that is interested in being a judge please have them contact me with a one paragraph bio and headshot.
