Hi everyone,
I would like to invite you all to join NFBGL for our 2014 Christmas party! The party will be held on December 7th, from 3-6:30 p.m. at Hurstbourne Christian Church, located at 601 Nottingham Parkway. We will be serving Christmas dinner with a "soul food" twist. Dinner is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Jayne Seif must receive your registration form for the dinner by December 1st (see attachment) so that we can give the caterer an accurate count of how many people to cook for. If needed you may post date your check for the 3rd.
Santa Claus will once again be making an appearance this year! If you would like your child to receive a gift from Santa please bring it wrapped and labeled with your child's name. Adults have an opportunity to participate in a gift exchange as well. If you would like to participate please bring a wrapped gift valued at roughly $10. If possible it would be best if your gift was gender neutral.
Lastly, this year GL has decided to sponsor three children that are in need at KSB for Christmas (See list at the end of this message). If you buy a gift for one of these children please bring it with you to the Christmas party. Make sure the gift is marked with the child's initials and if possible please wrap it.
Thanks,
Katie Adkins

I talked to her teacher and she would love to see her get a talking or braille watch or alarm clock. Also she said she knows this is a long shot but an iPod would make her life so much better. Even a used one. She has made her a BARD account and all her friends access books at school and home and she would benefit from this greatly.
Also personal care items that are just here. Hair brush and such. She has lots of siblings and doesn't often have things that are just for her alone.
