Hi all 

 

My name is Kathy, some of you might remember me some time ago, I was living
in ky in spencer county of KY but I came back to Ohio for a little bit in
Akron, I am wanted to be with other blind persons and learn how to do
different things, I am learning to be independent and have taken my
transportation to different places on my ow, I am pretty excited about that.
I lost my husband about 2 years ago, and he coddle me and did everything for
me, so now I am learning to do for myself, I am 53 years old it is scary but
fun. My sister still lives in spencer county, and she is very supportive of
me being independent, she said she thought she heard that there is a blind
community where blind persons are living in Ky. Any help, suggestion would
be appreciated. There is not a whole lot in Akron Ohio.
