[Nfbk] NFBGL October Meeting

Good morning everyone!


October's NFBGL meeting will be taking place Saturday, October 4th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Our meeting will once again be held at Tumbleweed on the riverfront located at 2301 River Road. The NFBGL board will be providing some appetizers free of charge for the group, but you are also free to purchase your own entree if you choose to do so.


October's philosophy component will center around Dr. Kenneth Jernigan's 1973 banquet address entitled "Blindness: A left-handed Dissertation".  I would encourage everyone to read the banquet speech before we meet so that we can have a lively discussion. We will also be going over details about our activities for Meet the Blind month, so come ready to sign up for several events!
