Subject: Nominees for SRC Appointments Needed

 

 

Good afternoon all SRC members:

 

The members of the Nominating and Bylaws Committee are asking for help from
all members of the SRC. Please talk to people you know, as well as family
members and friends, to get applicants who can qualify as members being
appointed by the Governor. We still need five applicants, two for each of
the two Business, Labor or Industry positions and one more person to
represent those with multiple disabilities who have trouble representing
themselves.  Please take the time to look for possible candidates who are
currently working in Business, Labor or Industry, or a person who has
someone who has multiple disabilities who can't represent themselves, and
persuade them to send their applications and resumes in to Jennifer this
week. I have attached a form for your convenience. We need them back before
April 14th in order to circulate them to the entire council for voting on at
the meeting on April 24th.  Also keep in mind that we need statewide
representation. At this time we are very top heavy on those who live in the
Frankfort, Louisville and Lexington areas.

 

Our SRC may not have a quorum in July if we do not get the appropriate
number to fill the spots for those members who will be leaving this year. 

 

Also, we need the applications and resumes for those members who are
reapplying and wish to remain on the Council. I would not wait till the last
moment to get those submitted.

appreciate every effort you make towards this endeavor.
