Hi Melanie,

Prayer for Peyton:

Almighty God, our physician, our counselor and our healer,

We come to you with boldness, just as your Word says we should, on behalf of
Peyton.  Eye surgery is a delicate thing and we who are blind know very well
of the risks associated with it.  We also know that you created those eyes
and understand their working better than anyone else.  Please comfort both
Melanie and Peyton as they prepare for the surgery tomorrow.  Give them an
extra measure of your peace.  We ask that you guide the hands of the
physicians and nursing staff so that they will have steady hands and clear
vision as they perform the surgery.  We pray for a successful surgery, for
optimal conditions  and for a rapid recovery with little pain.  

Gracious God, scripture tells us to bring our requests to you and that you
will hear us.  We wait in trust and confidence for news of this surgery
tomorrow.  We will be careful to give you all the praise and glory for a
good outcome.  We thank you for the privilege of being able to lift one
another up in prayer.  We pray in the name which is above every other name
