Hello everyone,

 

The career fair is coming up next week. We have 39 employers and resources signed up so far. A good variety of employers. We are still waiting to hear from a few more, and plan to have all 50 tables occupied. We are counting on you to get the word out to your people so we will have a large number of employers. 

 

We are also trying something new this year to get the word out to our people. We are sending out a post card with information on the job fair to people who are part of the Ticket to Work program. It gives them information on the fair and encourages them to attend to meet the employers. It will be interesting to see what kind of response we get from job seekers, and if it brings in some new faces.

 

Keith Hosey worked with TARC go get some free bus rides for our folks to the job fair. The schedule is attached, along with a flyer about the job fair.

 

Hope put together the minutes from the Coalition meeting last week. They are also attached.
