[Nfbk] Greater Louisville July Activities.

Good afternoon!

As several of us get settled back in to our normal routine after National convention, the Greater Louisville chapter is working on a couple of activities for next week.

On Thursday, July 14th, we will be spending an evening playing games & having dessert with the youth who are partisipating in the Transitions Program at the McDowell Center. 
All the fun will be from 6pm till 8pm at the McDowell Center which is located at, 8412 Westport Road.  We invite you all, but do ask that you let us know if you'll be joining us so we can have enough dessert items on hand for everyone!

On Friday July 15th we'll be having our July chapter meeting from 6:30pm till 9pm at Crescent Hill Methodist Church, 201 South Peterson.
We had several GL members attend National convention this past week. A few newbies & many experienced conventioneers. We will be hearing from the newbies as they share their stories & experience, we're not going to leave out the long time Federationists, we'll be hearing from them too. Nickie will be sharing her adventures with the Habitat for Humanity project. Cathy will update us on State convention & National issues.
We look forward to sharing our Federation spirit with everyone next Friday! 

Keep in mind our donation drive for the Humane Society is still going on. Items in need are, paper towels, unscented baby wipes, canned dog & cat food, kitty litter, & animal beds.
If you'd like to contribute, please bring your donations to either GL activity next week & give to a board member.
