I have a few updates for you today regarding NFB Kentucky TAD.

 

.        Don't miss out on your opportunity to attend the 2016 NFB of
Kentucky TAD Fall Symposium. We are offering hands-on training in assistive
technology programs, discussions and training in advocacy and more!

 

Dave Wilkinson from HIMS, Inc and Jim Fortman from Vision Aid Systems will
be with us to give you information on the latest and greatest blindness and
low vision technology. Our MC this year is none other than Michael Freholm;
we will have fabulous door prizes and lunch will be included. This will all
happen on Friday, September 30th at the Holiday Inn Airport Fair and Expo
Center in Louisville, KY during the NFB Kentucky State Convention.

.        The National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky Technology
Assistance Division (TAD) will be raffling off the
"Legendary stay, dine and play package" from Caesars this year

This package will include a one night stay in the Caesars hotel (sun thru
thurs), two food vouchers from a choice of Caesars "Legendary" dining
establishments and two $10.00 free casino cash coupons.

 

All this could be yours if the ticket is right, but the ticket won't be
right if you remain out of sight! See any of the TAD Board members to
purchase your potential winning ticket during convention. Tickets are $5 for
one chance, or $10 for three. The drawing will take place at the NFB of
Kentucky Banquet, Saturday evening on October 1st and winner need not be
present.
