Good Afternoon,
I visited the hotel today to work with the staff on convention details. I want to remind you that the cut-off date for reservations is this Friday, September 16th. After this date there are no guarantees that you will get a room. The hotel is not obligated to honor the $99 room rate either. I have spoken with several of you who have expressed your intention to come to convention. I know a few of you have had trouble when trying to make a reservation. You were told that there was no block of rooms for the National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky. There most certainly is. If you continue to have trouble you can ask for Shelby Stafford or for anyone at the hotel front desk. Often times the reservations are forwarded to an off-site operator. The hotel number is 502-637-4500. Don't forget pre-registration needs to be in by Monday, September 19th. If you have any questions please call me at 502-366-2317. See you at convention.
