A wise person once said, "It's better to give than to receive!"
In our Greater Louisville chapter, we like to make it a regular practice of giving & this summer season is no different.
Sometimes even the basic of necessities can be out of reach when there are more crucial priorities. Many times, students at the Kentucky School for the Blind come from low income households, or items may run out before the school week ends.
We have received a list of everyday necessities that are needed by students throughout the school year & will be collecting these items at our monthly chapter activities this summer, (May thru August).
We would appreciate any donation, so when you are stocking up on shampoo, tooth paste, sunscreen or deodorant, pick up an item or two for the kids at KSB. The list is below, if you have any questions, please let me know. As always, thank you for your giving!

Shampoo (tear free for kids and regular)
Body wash (men and women)
Toothpaste (kids and regular)
Toothbrushes
Floss (picks and regular string)
Mouthwash
Deodorant (men and women)
Razors (with a coated layer of soap for protection)
Shaving cream (men and women)
Hair Combs
Hair Brushes
Pads without wings
Tampons
Pony tails holders
Nail files
Nail clippers
Sun screen
Travel sizes of these items would also be helpful but obviously not a necessity.

Respectfully,
