[Nfbk] NFB of Greater Louisville April Luncheon Update and Thanks!

Good afternoon!

A huge thank you to the American Printing House for the Blind for the use of their facilities this past Saturday at our 2018 NFB of Greater Louisville April Luncheon.  We would also like to give a tremendous shout out to our amazing caterer, Lynn Florence.  This event was wonderful and we are so thankful to have such wonderful partners in our community.

The room was full, and I am so pleased that so many of you are passionate and respectful of the fact that we need to grow, secure and maintain the independence and freedom of all blind individuals for the future.

It warms my heart and brightens my smile that our chapter is able to contribute to the higher education of Jacob Hack.. Jacob was the first recipient of the NFB of Greater Louisville, Mittie Lake Academic Scholarship.  Jacob received $1000 to put towards his college education.  It’s programs like this where our passion, dedication and hard work shine. Good luck Jacob! Your Federation family is always here for you.
