It is definitely back up. The first sync didn't bring back the New York
Times, but the second one did.

The brailliant list has also complained and I had two days of nothing but
one magazine on my victor reader stream. Today everything seems to be back
up.

Todd,

Speaking of NewsLine, do you know what is going on with them and the
EReader? Last week, the reader added support for NewsLine. Starting, I have
been getting messages when I sync that say, now issues available, orr
something to that effect. I have written to Newsline staff but have gotten
no response. Except for one Access World, all content that I downloaded from
NewsLine is gone.

Subject: [NFBK] [NFBKTAD] NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky State Convention $100 Visa
Drawing

Good Morning:

There has been very little activity on this front, so I wanted to send a
reminder about the NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky $100 Visa drawing. There are two
crucial benchmarks that must be met in our outreach regarding the
NFB-NEWSLINE service across the country. The first is promoting regular
usage among current subscribers, and the second is adding new subscribers to
the service. The ratio of print impaired individuals not subscribed, but yet
eligible remains very low at a little over four percent in this state.

We need everyone in this state to be actively involved in promoting this
service. Blind and sighted alike are welcome to participate in this
campaign. There is no guarantee that NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky will always be
available; we cannot take this world class reading service for granted.
NFB-NEWSLINE is a treasured resource for the print impaired in this state
and around the country. Therefore, I would like to introduce a promotional
campaign known as the NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky Visa Drawing. The name of any
individual who refers a subscriber, or subscribers to the NFB-NEWSLINER
audio reading service will receive one ticket per referral to be placed into
a hopper for a special drawing. Please note that subscribers to the
NFB-NEWSLINER service are only eligible if they have a qualifying print
impairment. For reference those impairments are in the following categories:
vision, fine motor skills and cognition. Any person working on the
NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky project will not be eligible for this drawing.
Self-referrals are not eligible either. Feel free to refer a spouse,
sibling, parent(s) or children. Please be sure that you discuss and clear
with the perspective referral, though. If the referral that you submit is
not willing to participate in this audio reading service known as
NFB-NEWSLINER, you will not get credit for a referral. Lastly, the referral
must reside in Kentucky.

We will conclude this campaign during the NFB Kentucky State Convention. the
name of the winner from this giveaway will be drawn during our banquet along
with all of the other drawings that we have. The winner will receive a $100
Visa gift card in recognition for their contribution to the NFB-NEWSLINER
project here in Kentucky.

Please email your referrals to: Todd Stephens at todd.stephens at nfbofky.org.
I will need the following information from you about the referral: Full
Name, Address, City, Zip, Phone, Email (if available), and nature of
disability.

Thank you,
