As noted in the Presidential release from November 1, it is critical that
each of us take a few moments to send two very important emails today. Both
Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer need to know that we
want to maintain the ATAA provision in the Build Back Better Act. Here are
the emails for both Chiefs of Staff. terri.mccullough at mail.house.gov and
michael-ynch at schumer.senate.gov and copy Jeff Kaloc at jkaloc at nfb.org. A
simple subject line could be "Maintain Access Technology Affordability Act
in BBB" or something similar so they will see it and know what you are
referencing. In the body of the email you can simply repeat that you want
the Access Technology Affordability Act provision to be maintained in the
Build Back Better Act.

This is extremely important, because as of right now this provision has
been cut from the reconciliation bill. If you would rather make a phone
call, you can reach both Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer through
the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121. This truly only takes five minutes
or less and can make a tremendous difference. If I can be of any assistance
please let me know.
Respectfully,
Melanie Peskoe
