Hi everyone,
TARC has several community events scheduled for this week to continue the
conversation about TARC 2025. If any of these events are taking place in
your neighborhood please consider going! We want TARC to know that we live
in all areas of Louisville and the decisions that they will be making over
the next couple of months will have a real impact on all communities. It's
also a good opportunity to build community connections, so if you attend
any of these events be sure to introduce yourself to your neighbors and any
organization leaders!
In addition to the community events listed below, TARC is also hosting a
monthly Rider's Club Meeting this Wednesday, August 27th, from 3-5:30pm.
The meeting is taking place at Please and Thank You "Mark" location,
located at 800 E. Market St. If you live downtown, in Nulu, or the
Clifton area this would be a very easy event to attend. If you're coming
from Clifton the 15 will get you within a tenth of a mile of the main door
(you basically have to walk down the block) and bus times line up well!
It's a drop in event, so while you can stay the entire two and a half
hours, you don't have to. TARC representatives will be available to answer
your questions, you can get a 50th Anniversary TARC mug, and there will be
a 20% discount on coffee and cookie purchases. I personally plan on
attending this event and hope to see some of you there!
